I purchased 3.5 grams of Momma Chan Farm’s Scratch & Sniff at the grand opening of HWY 420’s new store in Poulsbo, WA.Tested by Confidence Analytics, its Strain Data Project Compass is Yellow.

The product was presented in a clear glass jar that included a foil seal beneath the lid. Contained in the jar was one large bulbous nug accounting for the entire weight. The material is a consistent fresh green color, with light accents of dark blue, and punctuated by dark green sugarleaf and light orange calyxes. Opening the jar, we are met with mild scents of creamy melon over sweet grasses. Squeezing the nug reveals a noticeable density, rebounding slowly. As I break away small pieces of the nug, I find very short stems and highly dense buds. Amber trichomes are throughout.

The flower was very sticky in the grinder, requiring extra effort to use the appliance. Taking whiffs from the grinder was overwhelming, with a strong vapor that tingled the nose. Heavy chem notes of Polyvinyl Chloride and vaporous industrial cleaners dominated all other smells. Leaving the ground flower in open air for several minutes diluted the strong chem into foundational notes of “new car” smell, lemon cleaners, and faint fragrant woods. These scents continued to be plainly detectable for a quarter hour more.
