Boysenberry Creme Brulee by Lifted Cannabis
Sinsemillist: Bobby Hines
I purchased 3.5 grams of Lifted Cannabis’s Boysenberry Creme Brulee at Higher Leaf’s Kirkland location. Tested by Confidence Analytics, its Strain Data Project Compass is Red. This flower came in a clear glass jar with a quarter-twist metal lid with sealing compound. The labels on this jar include a DOH compliance sticker indicating it is tested to the State’s medical product standards. Tested by Confidence Analytics, this product is placed in the Red category. Notably, the SDP compass indicates Lifted’s product is firmly in the Red category; their flower’s terpenes align tightly with the Red category’s profile.
Inside the jar are five (5) uniformly shaped nugs of similar size. The nugs are tightly trimmed, with a smattering of sugar leaves remaining. Buds are a lighter shade of green, enhanced by a covering of bright white hairs. This results in a striking contrast with the orange-brown calyxes scattered throughout. The nugs are dense and sticky. Squeezing results in a slow rebound.
Opening the jar immediately releases a thick complex odor consisting of creams and hints of berry and citrus, and topped with spicy wood fragrances. Breaking the nug in half releases more of those herbaceous notes, along with a well-developed scent of warm vinyl. In the grinder, the flower feels thick and gummy. Opening the grinder releases a sharp scent of ferrous metals over sweet cream. The metallic scents are rounded by fruit berry scents. After airing out the material for several minutes, one can detect more subtle scents of black licorice, cinnamon, and basil.
